First Time Visitor? Here’s What You’ll Need.
Most services can be accessed on line, but if you would rather visit our offices, please have the following documents with you.
To register for Voluntary PreKindergarten (VPK)
All 4 or 5 year old children residing in Florida are eligible for VPK classes.
Parents – you may register for VPK on-line by visiting Florida’s Early Learning Family Portal.
If you opt to visit our offices to register your child for VPK, pleae bring the following documents:
- Proof you live in Florida. You may provide a bank statement or utility bill as proof of residency
- Proof your child turns 4 years old by September 1. You may provide a birth certificate or passport as proof of age.
Once your child is registered, your will receive a certificate of eligibility. Please keep this document safe because you will need it to enroll your child in the participating VPK Program of your choice.
To register for the School Readiness (SR) Program
The School Readiness Program is offered to eligible families to help offset the expense of child care by paying a reduced parent fee. Families begin the process by applying for the Wait List through the Office of Early Learning Family Portal.
Once you apply, your Wait List application will be reviewed. Once approved enrollment can take place on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on the availability of funding.
