Director of Risk Management

Status:  Full–Time Exempt Position

 Primary Responsibilities:

  • Functions as the contract manager to enforce terms and conditions of contracts to be in compliance with funders
  • Supports management in the control of contracted expenses
  • Maintains proper liability, general, property, workers’ compensation and other insurances
  • Performs as the custodian of property for the Coalition
  • Provides accountability for Coalition’s assets
  • Conducts quality assurance including internal and external monitoring of programmatic activities
  • Interfaces with the funding agencies when necessary

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business (contract management or risk management)
  • Equivalent combination of related education and experience may substitute for the requirements
  • At least three (3) years direct experience with contract oversight or non-profit experience
  • Familiar with Rules and Regulations for School Readiness and Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten, preferred
  • At least one (1) year direct supervisory experience preferred
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends
