  • Monitors contracted Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) for compliance with program quality guidelines and requirements.
  • Issues and follows-up on provider non-compliances, final notices of non-compliance, non-payment, and probation per established protocols, policies, and
  • Learns to use the statewide database for verifying provider profiles and rosters are current and accurate, and performing ongoing maintenance to profiles and associated
  • Maintains accurate records of providers’ training, non-compliance and technical
  • Learns to schedule and conduct routine technical assistance for ELC’s early learning providers; assists with administering, coordinating, and conducting established training and technical assistance programs
  • Learns to use the assessment tool for conducting School Readiness (SR) program assessments achieving and maintaining reliability on all assessment
  • Monitors and maintains Department of Children and Families (DCF) inspection violations; ensures documentation is submitted and recorded on time, performs assigned follow up activities, and participates in monitoring providers’ probation per DCF’s Progressive Disciplinary
  • Learns the content, requirements, and procedures for yjr ELC’s provider contracts; verifies contracts are accurate, complete and recorded prior to new fiscal year deadline; learns and participates in contract initiation and amendment activities.
  • Assists with early learning provider eligibility process.
  • Learns and performs, as requested, the activities of higher-level service area jobs to support the organization’s uninterrupted operations, objectives, and business demands
  • Receives and maintains coaching certification and designation as an Active Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) Observer; participates in training, workshops, and certification programs offered by the organization and regulatory agencies
  • Maintains an ability and means to travel regularly to conduct required field work at providers’ locations throughout several
  • May coordinate with Program Services regarding assigned providers; facilitates providers’ interaction with ELC staff regarding reimbursements as needed; assists with early learning provider eligibility process, as requested
  • Follows organizational, OSHA, and public safety guidelines and protocols, performing job functions in a safe manner and reporting all safety hazards per established policies and procedures
  • Generates, receives and maintains confidentiality of sensitive files, information, and reports; follows all ELC protocols related to the security of information and records
  • Responds to inquiries, questions, and comments from families and providers per established standards and protocols; resolves difficult and sensitive inquiries, issues, and complaints; records and tracks provider communications, complaints, and follow-up as needed
  • Reports all suspicions of fraud or abuse to ELC Risk Management when infractions are discovered Relates well to people from varied backgrounds and situations; is sensitive to cultural diversity, race, gender, disabilities, and other individual differences
  • Establishes/develops and maintains collaboration, trust, and cohesion with colleagues; demonstrates and fosters a commitment to the mission, goals, and organizational culture of the Coalition

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate degree in early childhood or special education, early childhood, social work, psychology, or related field; supplemented by two (2) years of experience in an early childhood provider or school setting; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.

A valid State of Florida Driver License, proof of auto insurance, and eligibility to secure a car via authorized car rental agency is required.
