This training equips early childhood educators with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively plan for and respond to emergencies. Participants will explore common types of emergencies, key components of an emergency plan, how to build and maintain emergency kits, and strategies for communication, drills, and emotional support for children. The session also emphasizes the importance of involving families in preparedness efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of all children.

Participants will gain the ability to categorize and articulate the different dimensions of the CLASS within the context of the Infant/Toddler Tool. Furthermore, the training will provide insights into how these dimensions contribute to fostering positive developmental outcomes for young children. By the conclusion of the session, participants will not only understand the significance of high-quality interactions but also be prepared to implement strategies that enhance engagement and learning in infant and toddler settings.
