Livescan Fingerprinting Registration

Why is a Level II Background Screening required?

The Department of Children and Families oversees the licensing and regulation of programs that serve children and vulnerable adults. As part of this process, a Level II Background Screening, as mandated by Chapter 435 of the Florida Statutes, is required. Each year, the Department conducts more than 225,000 screenings to help ensure the safety and well-being of those in care.

For the most up to date information on Background Screening requirements, you may check the DCF website.

For those coming back to be re-printed...

Please call (239) 935-6100. Choose the Live Scan Background Screening prompt to make an appointment.

For a re-print appointment you must bring in a copy of your result letter printed from the Clearinghouse Portal. There is no additional cost for this appointment.
