Participants will be able to have a better understanding of transmission and prevention of common communicable illnesses of children, the difference between CDC reportable and non-reportable diseases, and when to exclude from the child care setting.

Participants will learn the causes of disease, how germs are spread and how disease spreads through blood and body fluids.
