Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) is a FREE community service that offers information and referral services to all families that are looking to find child care information in Southwest Florida. CCR&R assists families in finding early education programs that best meet their needs.
If you need more information, trained staff will answer questions about choosing the best early learning programs and provide parents with a list of referrals that is customized to their specific preferences. Some of these specifications include the age of the child, location preference for care, type of care such as Centers, Family Child Care Homes, or School Age Care, also whether the site has a pool, non-smoking conditions, pets, program and curriculum desires, etc. Call (239) 935-6100 or fill out the Online Request Form below.
Families will receive information about child development and developmentally appropriate practices. In addition, parents will receive listings and information about other services available in the community.
How to Request a CCR&R Consultation/Listing
All families receiving Child Care Resource and Referral services will be contacted to complete a voluntary survey to gauge your customer service experience with our office. All responses are anonymous and confidential and will not affect your services.
- By phone or to make an appointment:
- Glades, Hendry or Lee County: 239-935-6100
- Collier County: 239-213-1137
The interview process takes approximately 20 minutes after which a customized list made specifically for that parent and child can be emailed, mailed, or faxed. During the interview the parent has the opportunity to ask specific questions regarding early care and education options, the child care application for financial assistance process and how to access other financial assistance for child care needs.
