The Early Learning Coalition of Southwest Florida (ELC) has received additional funding from the Division of Early Learning (DEL) to support private early learning/child care providers.
Congress authorized the Child Care Stabilization Subgrant Program through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). States received funding to provide direct assistance to eligible childcare providers to support their financial stability and offset unexpected costs associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.
The (DEL) oversees the Child Care Stabilization Sub-grant Program in partnership with the Early Learning Coalitionsand Redlands Christian Migrant Association throughout the state.
Regional ELCs and RCMA will review applications to verify eligibility, confirm tax information, approve payment applications, and issue payments to providers.
