There are many ways to give to the Literacy Buddy Program.

Donate Books/Host a Book Drive: You, your group, or civic organization may decide to donate books. Books donated in this manner will be saved in the coalition “library” and will be used when a child in a preschool classroom is not paired with an adult volunteer. Every child in a participating classroom gets a book to call their very own–one they can take home and share with their parents or siblings. Book Drives are an easy way to stock a classroom or library. Ask about how your office or organization can participate in an Amazon Book Drive.

Donate your Time: Would you like to volunteer in a preschool? There are many things you can do to help the teachers and students. Reading a book to the class is just one way you can share your love of reading with the next generation. Helping them to write letters to their adult “Buddies” is another.

Donate Dollars: Money donations stay in the program to help buy books or other resources for preschool children. When you click on the “Donate” button above, please specify that you would like your dollar donation to go to the Literacy Buddy Program to help buy books for children in the preschools we serve.
